🎮 Venturing into the Metaverse 🌟
The day’s teaching was an intriguing journey through popular metaverses like Fortnite, Meta, and Roblox. Students were keenly engaged as they learned about the rise of these virtual universes, and how they are transforming the way we interact with digital environments.
A well-rounded discussion took place about the emerging job opportunities within the metaverse. The digital frontier is rich with potential careers, and our students were introduced to the various roles they might play in these evolving virtual spaces.
The hands-on segment with the Level Up VR crew was a hit among the students. Learning about the setup, operation, and maintenance of VR headsets provided a practical understanding of the technology that drives virtual experiences.
Imagine this: you’re learning about human anatomy in your biology class and instead of looking at a picture of a heart, you’re able to interact with a heart diagram virtually with your own hands! Marcus with Optima Ed showcases note-taking features to Level Up remotely, 1000 miles away!

The culmination of the class was a partnership-enabled VR learning adventure with Optima Ed. Students virtually traveled from the Oval Office to a lunar base on the moon, enjoying an educational tour that transcended geographical boundaries.
