Our Vision and Mission
Level Up Philly, guided by the indomitable spirit of Pastor Aaron Campbell, is more than just an organization; it’s a movement reshaping the future of Philadelphia’s youth. Rooted in compassion and driven by the urgency of the city’s crises, our mission is to empower young leaders from high-risk neighborhoods, helping them ascend to greater heights of success and self-sufficiency.
Purpose and Impact
The purpose of Level Up Philly is to directly engage young people grappling with poverty, homelessness, PTSD, depression, and despair. By providing a holistic mentoring system encompassing counseling, crime intervention, academic support, and housing aid, we’re preparing these young individuals for a future in the global technology-powered job market.
Level Up Philly has already made a significant impact, serving over 76,000 gourmet meals, investing more than $510,000 directly into youth, and positively impacting over 5,000 young people since its inception. We are fighting the crisis head-on, one life at a time.
Values and Approach
Our values are deeply rooted in seeing the intrinsic worth in every individual. Everyone deserves a chance, irrespective of their background or past. This belief is reflected in our approach, where we welcome everyone, including those from rival neighborhood gangs, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all.
Short-Term and Long-Term Goals
In the short term, our goal is to provide immediate relief and support to the youth of Philadelphia, offering them a safe space to be themselves and grow. In the long term, we aim to expand our operations, dreaming of opening five days a week to cater to more young individuals in need. Our ultimate goal is to transform these lives, instilling hope and belief in a brighter future.
